Example of projects that require a building permit include: Concrete/flatwork, Fences, Garages, Hot Water Heaters, Patio Covers, Pergola, Plumbing & Mechanical, Remodel/Renovation, Roof Replacement, Sewer connection, Sheds, Siding Replacement, Sprinkler Systems, Stucco Repair, Water Connections, Window Replacement.

Code Enforcement

The City of Connell collaborates with residents and businesses to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for both living and working. If you see a situation you believe may be a code violation, please notify the City by submitting a completed complaint request form to cityofconnell@connellwa.org.The City looks into citizen complaints and addresses them if needed. Some of the most common code violations pertain to weeds, accumulations of waste or garbage materials, blowing dust, obstructions to public rights-of-way, and potential fire hazards.
