COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

- Pay Range: $26.49 - $31.63/hour
SUMMARY: The City of Connell is seeking a Community Development Manager to oversee planning, permitting, code enforcement, and Parks & Recreation functions. This position supports long-and short-range planning efforts, ensures compliance with local, State, and Federal regulations, and works closely with City leadership, advisory boards, consultants, and the public to guide responsible community development. KEY DUTIES:
- Coordinate planning, permitting, and code enforcement activities
- Support land use and long-range planning
- Manage development review and inspections
- Ensure City codes and policies remain current
- Attend and support advisory board meetings

REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of community development, land use, and permitting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with the public
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and permitting software
- Availability for occasional evening meetings
