COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

  • Pay Range: $26.49 - $31.63/hour

 

SUMMARY: The City of Connell is seeking a Community Development Manager to oversee planning, permitting, code enforcement, and Parks & Recreation functions. This position supports long-and short-range planning efforts, ensures compliance with local, State, and Federal regulations, and works closely with City leadership, advisory boards, consultants, and the public to guide responsible community development. City of Connell is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

KEY DUTIES: 

  • Coordinate planning, permitting, and code enforcement activities
  • Support land use and long-range planning
  • Manage development review and inspections
  • Ensure City codes and policies remain current
  • Attend and support advisory board meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of community development, land use, and permitting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with the public
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and permitting software
  • Availability for occasional evening meetings
