This 1948 fire truck was refurbished in the Spring of 1999 and is fully functional. The majority of the work was done by a Coyote Ridge inmate.

Fire Department

The Connell Fire Department is an all volunteer group of 22 active firefighters. It has a longstanding history of keeping the community safe. The volunteer department consists of a Chief, Assistant Chief, Captain and 19 active firefighters. Although all of these positions are staffed with volunteers, the commitment of purpose seen in these community-minded people is exemplary. All Connell firefighters are members of the Washington State Board for Volunteer Firefighters and Reserve Officers.
