ACCOUNTING CLERK

The City of Connell is accepting applications for a permanent full-time position of Accounting Clerk.  Under minimum supervision, job duties include, but are not limited to; customer service, cashiering, accounts payable, answering phones, distributing mail, filing, and typing.  Operates a variety of office machines including; computer, copier, fax, and postage equipment. The position reports to the City Clerk/Treasurer.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate or equivalent, and two years experience in; accounts payable, computer software and operations, record keeping procedures and filing, and business operations.  Bilingual in English/Spanish as well as experience in website maintenance is highly desirable but not required. 

SALARY: $2,660 - $2,994 monthly. EOE.

POLICE OFFICER - LATERAL

SALARY (Lateral Entry): $3,734 - $4,080 monthly.

Full benefit package.  To be considered as lateral, applicants must have completed the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy or be eligible to attend the Equivalency Academy.

TEMPORARY SEASONAL SUMMER POSITIONS

LIFEGUARD
Works under the supervision of the Head Lifeguard. Must be at least 16 years of age; possess current Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification, Red Cross CPR, and First Aid certification, WSI desired but not required.

SALARY: DOQ.

WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR
Works under the supervision of the Head Lifeguard. Must possess current American Red Cross Certifications of the following: Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Lifeguard Training, CPR and First Aid.

SALARY: DOQ.
