The City of Connell, Washington (herein called the "Owner"), invites bids for the West Adams Street Reconstruction and CIA Access Road Project. The work includes the reconstruction of approximately 1,700 linear feet of West Adams Street from Columbia Avenue to the North Franklin School District Property, including curb and gutter, asphalt, sidewalks, storm drain, street lighting, and other associated work. The CIA access road project includes the construction of approximately 200 linear feet of new road, including curb and gutter, asphalt, storm drain, water line, and other associated work.
Sealed bids for the described project will be received by the City of Connell at City Hall, 104 E. Adams Street, Connell, Washington 99326 until 2:00 p.m., local time, May 17, 2012, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
The Contractor is subject to all requirements related to State Prevailing Wage Rates, EEO, and Washington State Contracting Laws, etc.
The contract time for all work shall be sixty-five (65) working days.

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of Anderson Perry & Associates, Inc., 214 E. Birch Street, P.O. Box 1687, Walla Walla, Washington 99362, upon non-refundable payment of $75 per paper set. Alternatively, the Bidder may request a paper copy of the Bidder's Packet and a CD containing a printable pdf version of the Contract Documents for $25.00 for each set. The Bidding Documents will be available after April 27, 2012.
The City Council may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed requirements, and may reject for good cause any and all bids upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Connell invites bids for construction of the East Date Street Sidewalks - 2012. The work includes construction of approximately 180 square yards of new sidewalk including curb ramps, concrete curb and gutter, driveway approaches, asphalt patching, and other associated work.
Sealed bids for the described project will be received by the City of Connell at City Hall, Connell, Washington, until 2:00 p.m., local time, May 21, 2012, and then publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name and project number clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Because the project is being paid for in part by federal funds, the Contractor will be subject to all federal and state requirements relating to the use of such funds (EEO, Washington State Contracting Laws, etc.). This project is being funded through STPE. The Contractor is subject to all the requirements related to Washington State Prevailing Wage Rate Rules, EEO, Washington State Contracting Laws, etc. Once the Contractor starts the work, the contract time for completing the work is fifteen (15) working days.
The City of Connell, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S. C. 2000d to 2000-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
